Change PATH variable in Mac – Quick Steps

In Mac, if you ever need to change your PATH variable probably you will need this file called .bash_profile. Steps to change your PATH are :

  1. sudo vi ~/.bash_profile (If does not exist, create one)
  2. Add the following line :

    export PATH=$PATH:<WHATEVER PATH YOU WANT TO ADD>

  3. Save the file
  4. source ~/.bash_profile
